ANCHORING SYSTEM

To ensure the stability and security of any given structure, pier caps/support plates, are affixed to the top of each pier. Techno Metal Post offers a range of support plate models and sizes, to accommodate various dimensions or materials. Additionally, TMP manufactures different helical pier sizes, to suit different project requirements. Smaller piers are designed for lighter projects, such as decks and verandas, and larger ones for heavier loads and purposes, such as cottages, garages, and buildings.

OUR EXCLUSIVE GREEN SLEEVE

Depending on soil at your job site, we have the option during the installation process to use our exclusive polyethylene green sleeve on the pier, to safeguard it against ground movement.

In situations where there are freeze/thaw cycles or swelling clay, the sleeve is designed to glide along the shaft, adapting to any ground movements. Techno Metal Post’s helical pier foundation remains secure, thereby guaranteeing the stability of the entire structure.

Helical Piers

Techno Metal Post's helical piers, are installed by our trained and certified professionals, using specially designed hydraulic machines. The piers are augured in until they reach a specified torque and depth, allowing our installers to determine the load-bearing capacity for the structure. Helical pier foundations are made from Hollow Structural Steel (HHS) that is compliant with ASTM A500 grade C. They are designed, tested, fabricated, and installed in compliance with Canadian, European, and U.S. building codes. When compared to bolted couplings in similar products, TMP's fully welded couplings ranked above others and provided maximum strength, rigidity, and enhanced buckling resistance. Different shaft and helical blade sizes are available, to accommodate the needs of structure support and site soil conditions. Our engineering department provides assistance, to determine the appropriate sizes for specific project types.
